Our story began in 1977 when the visionary Hewitt family embarked on a journey to spread joy, love, and laughter through the timeless art of greeting cards. With boundless passion and a profound love for heartfelt expressions, they founded Panda Cards, a sanctuary of carefully curated cards that spoke to the soul.

Over the years, Panda Cards grew from a humble little store into a cherished and flourishing independent greeting card shop, earning its rightful place as a beloved staple in the heart of St. Albans. It became a place where people found not just cards but a connection – a place where emotions found a beautiful way to be conveyed, and sentiments found their perfect match.

In the early 2000s, the reins of this legacy were entrusted to me, Mary, with great honour and pride. As a lover of art and storytelling, taking over Panda Cards was a dream come true. I was determined to preserve the essence of the store while infusing it with my own touch of creativity and innovation.
